Death

The modern-Day Harbinger of Death and successor to Clarity’s former role is a terrifying and ethereal force draped in bone armor and crowned with the symbols of the dead. Wielding immense cosmic power through her glowing Omega amulet, she commands dark celestial energies capable of freezing, incinerating, and annihilating her enemies with ruthless precision. In the TCG, Death thrives when cards are defeated and sent to Oblivion, growing stronger as destruction spreads across the battlefield before finishing opponents through overwhelming cosmic devastation.

In both eras
Death appears in both eras. The Harbinger of Death is Clarity’s old form: in the Cosmic Era, Clarity served as Death, chief assassin of the Progenitors. Today she is Clarity, and the modern-day Harbinger of Death has taken up her former role in The Awakening.
Also in both eras: Clarity · Conquest · Pestilence · War.
Death cards
How Death plays
- Death, the Dreadful (AC2-009 · Black Clash, cost 2, 2/1): Trigger - Enter: You may activate the Portal. Trigger - Defeat: Target Contender loses two health. Then that Contender's controller draws one card.
- Death, the Endbringer (AC2-010 · Black Clash, cost 6, 4/5): Exclusive At the start of your turn, if the Portal is open, you may put target Clash card with an initial resource cost of three or less from your Oblivion into your Clash Zone. If that card is a (Harbinger symbol) Clash card, it gets +2/+2 and Necrotic until end of turn. At the start of each opponent's turn, that opponent must send one Clash card they control to Oblivion.
- Death, Chaos Bringer (AC2-001 · Black Contender, 1/0): 30: When a [Death] Clash card you control is defeated or sent to Oblivion, you may engage this card. If you do, draw one card, then up to one target Clash card you control gets +1/+1 until end of turn. 10: Once per turn, during your Primary Phase, you may put target black Clash card with an initial resource cost of two or less from your Oblivion into play. At the end of your turn, banish that card.
- Death, Overseer (AC4-008 · Black Clash, cost 1, 1/1): Flight Once per turn, during your Primary Phase, you may send a Clash card you control to Oblivion. If you do, banish target card in target player's Oblivion. If the Portal is open, banish two target cards instead.
- Death, Stalking Specter (AC2-012 · Black Clash, cost 5, 3/4): Flight Trigger - Enter: You may send target Clash card with an attack power of three or less to Oblivion. Whenever a Clash card is sent to Oblivion from the Clash Zone, this card gets +1/+1 until end of turn. This effect triggers only once per turn.
